Daniel Brunell, merchant.

The musical reference is not quite clear, as it refers to  "Item vna corneta de lauto ab vn sunyell de stan [reliably the more common ortography stany = tin] de dues colors ço naronjat y blau". The description does not fit with the usual image of the musical instrument. Although, the inventory has an interesting collection of cultural objects, mainly books and altarpieces ('retable'). Within the books, there is mention of works of Petrarch in italian and castilian, of gospels in both languages too, one or maybe two titles in latin, six or seven in italian, and one in tuscan; also a book called "Historia general de las Indias." About the latter is interesting to note that most not be the work by Francisco López de Gómara, as it was first published in Zaragoza in 1552. The altarpieces have various images of Christ, the three kings, St. Jerome, Veronica, etc.

Some items deserve a special attention: a large book "Triunfos de petrarca", "Palmorin de oliva" (the well known book of chivalry), and two other non spacified books, all in castilian, described as belongings "of the lady" ('son de la senyora').
