Post-mortem inventory of "Magnifich Petrus latzari dusay"
This one is a very large and interesting inventory, definately a window that opens the view to the life and belongigns of an intellectual and religious man of the sixteenth-century.
We find a considerable amount of books, includding: letters of St. Jerome, "libre de les dones", Seneca, "decretats", "Flos sanctorum", "Epistola sancti ciciliani", St. Thomas, sermons, Cicero, St. Ambrose, Virgil and several books and copies of Petrarch, Tully and the Biblie. Also many more books at the hall ("en la sala"), among them: Dante, gospels, "La vida del rey alexandre", "Cronica despanya", Celestina, Amadis de Gaules, "Conquestes de Catalunya", Francesch Ximenis [Cisneros?], Vicent Ferrer, Tito Livy, etc.
At the main chamber ("cambra maior") nearly seven retables (with a rich variety of scenes, saints and virgins), eight Books of Hours, and some other religious objects are listed.
At the porch (porxo): "Item una campana".
"En la cambra del mosso qui trau porta al propi dit porxo" we find again two retables.
A very clarifying information is given by an indication of the place: "En la cambra qui es al cap del porxo qui mire al carrer dencalder", that situates us (at least aproximately) near the actual neighborhood of "El Born". At this same chamber numerous books, retables and letters, and "Item quatre cascavells almejarins [?]" are listed.
In another chamber ("En la cambra del canto qui trau finestra al pati y a la volta de la pact"), we find again another amount of books, a retable, and "Item una corneta". And "Item una campana per la dita capella" at the chapel.
There are listed at various places of the house plenity of retables and books.
The last item is a printed book with leather covers "Libri Claudii Ptholomei viri alexandrini".
