Anthon Panella was a beneficed priest at Barcelona Cathedral who specified burial in the chapel of the Confraternity of the Santissima Conceptio with a sung Mass and absolution, according to custom. Two cathedral canons (Jaume Oliueres and Joan Gilet) and his nephew, Andreu Canyet, a notary, were his executors. He designates 10l to the celebration of a memorial in the chapter with a sung mass ('sie feta vna reconeixensa ço es a saber vna missa cantada en lo dit capitol de dita seu de barcelona com se acostume fer lo primer dia aporten algun cos a capitol y apres de esser fetes per lo que dira dita missa cantada los absoltes acostumades sie feta vna absolta cantada deuant lo meu vas ahont los confrares de dita confraria estan soterrats per la anima mia y de mos parents y de dits confrares y de tots mos benefactors').

He also stipulates a trentenari to be celebrated in the chapter chapel where he held the benefice of the three kings. He also held a rectorate in Fero [?] where he stipultaed that a 'cantatge' or obit should be celebrated at the altar of St Peter in the church of la Donzell, and that six priests should be invited to sing Mass, and there should be seven sung requiem Mass followed by a sung absolution. This appears to be where his parents and grandparents are buried ('Hajen de celebrar vn cantatge o vulgrament dit vn hobit ço es lo dia de mon obit y de aqui auant perpetualment en semblant dia si just impediment no y haura hauent ay just impediment lo dia inmediate apres ço es per lo dit retor ho retors o sos vicaris o per altre sufficient preuere en lo altar de St Pere de dita sglesia de la donzell y que y hajen ha conuidar a sis preueres per ajudar a cantar dita missa y que sia de Requiem y per lo semblant hajen de celebrar dit die tots los dits sis preueres ab lo que dira dita missa cantada que sien set misses de Requiem y axi ho vull obligacio amore Dei y apres celebrades dites misses de requiem fassen vna absolta cantada com es costum de fer sobre lo vas').
Six priests to be paid what should be paid for such a ceremony ('als dits sis preueres honestament com se acostume fer en semblant cantars..'). The priest who says the absolution 'submissa voce' to be given 2s 'de charitat'.
