Anttic Pons Caralps was a canon of Barcelona Cathedral, whose executors included two other cathedral canons (Guerau Vilana and Miquel Cordelles), and his cousin Jaume Caralps.
His will is standard and of the exequies says only that he wishes to be buried in the chapter of the cathedral where canons are buried in accordance with the usual custom ('la qual [sepultura] vull sia feta com es practica fer sepultura canonical'). He leaves all the jewels (diamonds, rubies, pearls, etc.) in his house to the cathedral sacristy to adorn the custodi of the cathedral. In a codicil to his will dated 03/12/1564, among other personal bequests, he specifies for the suffrage of his soul, and the souls of his parents and benefactors, that a canonical anniversary, with bells, tomb and other solem ceremonies be celebrated annually on 10 July ('Item en suffragi y remey de la anima mis y dels dits pare y mare y altres parents y benefactors meus vull y ordon ab los presents meus codicils que en la sobredita seu de barcelona sie celebrat quiscun any a Deu del mes de juliol perpetualment vn anniuersai canonical ab tochs tomba solennitat y totes altres ceremonies modo y forma e manera que anniuersaris canonicals se celebren y son acostumats y se acostuma fer y celebrar en la dita seu de Barcelona'). On that day 2s to be given to each of cathedral canons and priests, and to the 4 scolans 'que serueixen al cor', 6d. He leaves 290l for this anniversary.
