Catalina Ripoll was the widow of Joan Ripoll, wool carder ('perayre'), and the daughter of the farm-worker ('pagès') Joan Puig and his wife Beatriu from Bellpuig. She chose three Augustinian monks and a priest to be her executors: ven. fra Jaume Mallot and the monks [?] Fabra and Agosti Mijavila, and Miquel Massana of the parish church of St Michael. She specified burial in the Capella de la Verge Maria de Pileta in the cloisters of the Augustinian monastery, and requested that she should be allowed to be buried in the habit of the Augustinian order.
She left 15l to the prior and monks of the monastery on condition that they would celebrate every year on the feast of the Conception of the BVM a sung office in the Capella de la Verge Maria de Pileta similar to the anniversary she had already instituted in the monastery on the day after the feast of the Conception, for her soul, the souls of her parents and all souls: 'Item deix als dits prior y conuentuals del dit monestir de sanct agosti de la dita ciutat de barcelona quinze lliures ab conditio empero que aquelles hajen de smerçar en loc segur y bo a rao de censal mort y que quiscun any lo die o festa de la concepcio de la sacratissima verge maria mare de deu hajen y sien tenguts de celebrar en la yglesia de dit monestir o en la capella de la verge maria de pitat vn offici cantat de la predita concepcio semblant de aquell que jo quiscun any fas celebrar en dit monestir'.
