The will of the tanner ('blanquer') Jaume Figuerola is many ways typical of the normal will, but provides more detail than many. His executors include the prior of the Augustinian monastery, Rev. Benet Calopa, his nephew, the venerable Andreu Jouere, a priest in the church of Vilafranca de Penades, and his wife Eulalia.

He wishes to be buried in the tomb allocated to the tanners before the main altar in the church of the Augustian monastery ('en lo vas o carner dels Blanquers lo cual es construyt deuant los altar maior de la dita yglesia'). He allocates 25l for the ceremonies which include a 'trentenari de requiem' in the Augustinian church and a trentenari in the church of Nuestra Señora de Jesus. He bequeathes 5s to his parish church of Santa Maria del Mar, and 20s to the Hospital de Santa Cruz, as well as 5s to several confraternities to which he belongs.

In addition, the 'cofradia dels blanquers' to be repaid everything he owes them. A further 10s is earmarked for a Mass of Our Lady ('de las del papa adria'), and anything remaining in further Masses. He also founds the celebration of an anniversary in the church of the Augustinian monastery, on the day after the feast of St James in the month of July, with a sung Mass and absolution over the tomb ('quiscun any un aniversari celebrador per la anima mia y dels meus en la dita yglesia de sanct agosti lo die apres seguent de la festa del glorios Sanct Jaume en lo mes de juliol per los frares de dit monestir ço es missa alta y cantada y que apres me sia feta absolta sobre lo dit vas'). He also leaves 20 s per annum to the Monastery of Santes Creus.
