The post-mortem inventory of Jeronimo de Sanct Jaume gives no indication of his profession or the location of his house. He had a number of books in the room where he died, including works by Juvenal, Socrates and Cato. In the side-room ('recambra') he had a small vihuela with only one string and missing pegs ('Item vna viola petita de huna corda sens clauellas'), and in the room of the garde-robe ('la cambra de la guardRoba') a tambourine (?): 'Item vn tabal pandero'.
