The post-mortem inventory of Pere Puig de Sellent does not indicate his profession, but situates his house as opening on to the Carrera publica. He owned a number of oratoris, retables and paintings which were scattered through the house, and included an engraving of Montserrat ('Item hun paper stampat en que y es historiat monserrat'), which was in his 'studi'. Also in his study he had many books, some of which are unspecified, but among those that are he had an illustrated Bible, a Flos sanctorum and a number of books in Italian, including Petrarch. In the room where he died, among other miscellaneous items, he had an old lute: 'Item hu laut desfet de sonar'.
