The will of Pere Maso, prior of the Monastery of S. Pau de Camp, is quite detailed, although some of the details are lost through pages being torn and worm-eaten.

His executors include his brother, Michael Maso, a merchant of Valencia, and he sets aside 60l for his exequies, etc. If he dies in Barcelona he wishes to be buried in the Chapel of 11,000 Virgins in the cathedral. The ceremonies specified relate mainly to S. Pau de Camp, where he specifies they should be led by 12 monks with lighted candles, and the poor are to pray for his soul. The bells are to be rung, first at first vespers on the eve, second on the day of his burial and third at the anniversary ('pro quo signando trinum Jubeo fieri campanarum sonum hoc est primum in crepusculo noctis vigilie pulsata oratione et secundum celebrationis die prima luçe hora prima alterum et tertium seu reliquum per acta dicti Aniuersarij solita absolutione'). For that anniversary he also asks for a sung Mass for which he will pay 4s, with 2s for each monk celebrating the Mass ('ipsius aniuersarij missam decantandam celebrabit'). He also founded a benefice in the Chapel of Santa Magdalena in town of Vilabetrando in the diocese of Girona, and the benefice-holder is to celebrate Mass during Holy Week, for his soul and for all souls.
