The post-mortem inventory of the merchant Francesch Pau Alba was drawn up in his house of one entrance, left to him by his father Thomas Alba in his will dated 8 January 1613, in the 'carrer de bosseya al costat so es la reconada de les cases grans de dit mossen Thomas alba vulgarment dita la casa del reco', on Tuesday 7 March 1617. In the study, he had a series of paintings of popes, emperors and kings, the twelve apostles, and St Christopher. On Monday 20 March 1617, 'la cambra mes prop de la cuyna' was inventoried and in 'altra caxa de monja de fusta de alba ab son pany y clau bons' were 'dues guitarras de nou cordes bones', clothing and bedding. Some devotional paintings (Salutation and Coronation of BVM) were found in the next room, and a silvergilt retable of the BVM in the 'capelleta', along with 'dues ores de dir offici de Nostra Senyora vsades'. Tapestries were listed in the  room on the third floor, reached by a spiral staircase.
