Doris Moreno is Professor of Early Modern History at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain). She has researched and published books and numerous articles on the Spanish Inquisition, the Society of Jesus and Spanish Protestantism of the sixteenth century. In recent years, she has studied in greater depth the border between tolerance and intolerance, its theorisation and practice in Early Modern Spain.
