Christophorus de Ycart was a nobleman who held the position of batle general of Catalunya with responsibility for anything to do with possessions of the king or royal family in the region.

He had a large number of possessions at the time of his death, including much silver, gold and jewellery. Among these items he had two cornetas, one made from ivory, and the other decorated with laurel: 'Item vna corneta gran blancha que diuen es dent de elefant' and 'Item vna altra corneta guarnida de lauro ab Cordons de fil blanch'.

He does not appear to have had much of a collection of books, but he had many retables, paintings and sculptures scattered through the house, some made of luxury materials such as bronze and ivory. He probably had a chapel, although the list of relevant items is not headed as such. These include an image of the Three Kings and a small book of images ('vn libret de images'), two missals, candles and a blue flag with gold lilies, and a reboster with the Ycart coat of arms. Among other items in this section of the inventory is a small bell: 'Item dos missales y vna campanilla y una caxa con coprorales y otras miserias'.
