The post-mortem inventory of the Count of Çavalla was begun on 7 October 1624 in the house where he died in the Carrer de la Merçe. There he had four horses in the 'cavalleria'. There were a number of paintings in the room where he died. On 8 October the 'cambra prop la segona sala que trau finestra al corredor' was inventoried, and there was found a new, unstrung lute: 'vn leut ab sa caxa sens cordes ab clauelles tot nou'. In the chapel next to this room was a retable of the Virgin and Child, and a missal with its lectern. In addition to devotional paintings were a set of six of 'sis paisos'. There was also an altar, altar frontals, vestments, cloths etc., so clearly Mass was celebrated there. No auction document is included.
